I'm from Taiwan. This is my second time to Hotel Fedora in Florence. Obviously, my first experience was very pleasant. So this time I booked the hotel via Agoda again. My husband, two kids(under 10) and I entered Hotel Fedora on 12 July 2023, the staff told me city tax 4.5 EUR/per night/per person. The staff wanted to recieve 36 EUR from me. I doubted two kids under 10 should be no charge on city tax. Finally, he told me I didn't tell him I have two kids at first but I have given him the passport. At last, he charged me 18 Eur (2nights)on city tax for two adults. On 13 July 2023, my Agoda booking content showed I should pay the room fee in cash. I was afraid I didn't pay the fee. Then, I asked the staff of Hotel Fedora the situation. Should I pay the room fee in cash? He answered me sure. Then I paid the room fee 235 euro in cash. At that moment, there was a female cleaner sitting on the sofa by the counter. I also asked for the receipt. He stamped the receipt and put the certificate into an envelope. So I have paid the room fee in cash. Today, 19 July 2023, I found Hotel Fedora also received the room fee+ 4 adults city tax (32eur two nights) via my credit card. My credit card shows the record. Hotel Fedora received the room fee again. Therefore, I told Agoda the situation of double pays. Agoda told me city tax should be 4 Eur/ per night. The hotel was quite dishonest apparently and cheat foreign tourists. Please tell me how to get my money back. The total amount are the room price 235 Euros and city tax 32 Euros
