Dear officer, I found my way here to complain and inquire for information about how do I defend myself as I think I might have encountered false advertising. As I made a purchase for 121 euros on web site Lookfantastic.it on 12th May, as I noticed that they advertise that for purchase over 80 euros there will be a free jade facial roller as a gift, and for purchase over 60 euros on Origins product there will be a free gift pack exclusive from Origins. I made this purchase and 4 days later they informed me that the gifts haven't been shipped since they are all out of stock. I contacted the customer service of Lookfantastic Italy, they just respond with the same explanation, which I don't believe in, which also should have been told the consumers before their purchase due to the total value of the gifts is around 70 euros, this is not a complimentary candy anymore, this can be seen as a vicious marketing strategy as they lure people to purchase with high-value free gifts and refuse to ship the gifts with an unconvincing response : they are all out of stock. Since the consumer can't see the stock because it's online shopping. This issue, may not cause lots of financial damage, but I don't agree with if it is legal from the perspective of the advertising law, it is false adverting, make a promise that cannot keep, inducing people to buy with a special offer which is a scam. After claiming that they are out of stock of free gifts, even now, they still have that advertising banner on their web site, which is meant to lead people on, more likely, to viciously induce purchases. Ho contattato il servizio clienti di Lookfantastic Italia, loro rispondono solo con la stessa spiegazione, alla quale non credo, che avrebbe dovuto anche essere detto ai consumatori prima del loro acquisto a causa del valore totale dei regali è di circa 70 euro, questo non è più una caramella gratuita, questa può essere vista come una viziosa strategia di marketing in quanto attirano le persone ad acquistare regali di valore elevato e si rifiutano di spedire i regali con una risposta non convincente: sono tutti esauriti. Dal momento che il consumatore non può vedere lo stock perché è lo shopping online. Questo problema, non può causare molti danni finanziari, ma non sono d'accordo con se è legale dal punto di vista della legge pubblicitaria, è falsa pubblicità, fare una promessa che non può mantenere, inducendo le persone ad acquistare con un'offerta speciale che è una truffa. Dopo aver affermato di non avere più articoli omaggio, anche adesso hanno ancora quel banner pubblicitario sul loro sito web, che ha lo scopo di indurre le persone a, più probabilmente, a indurre in modo vizioso gli acquisti.
