HI, please read below what happened to me: 13 Mar 18: Order a postage service made on Spedire.com (104.99 euro). This included an insurance covering up to 400 euro. A total of 5 packages (total weight 98kg). Each package containing 2 tins of 10lt olive oil. 14 Mar: parcel is collected by a subcontractor called Assitur, the guy spots a small stain in one of the parcel, caused by a leak. He leaves it with the sender to sort it out and say we need to re arrange the collection. Raised a ticket on the website for this. 16 Mar: Collection happens. 22 Mar: parcels arrive at destination (Edinburgh) at 17:15 . Driver wheels all the parcels to the kitchen and leaves. When I move the first parcel to open it, I realize the weight is too light and, in keeping moving the rest of the parcels, two more were light too in weight, for a total of three parcels. I then opened this three light ones to find out that half of the contents was missing. I then opened a ticket on Spedire.com to report the stolen goods with requested details for the procedure. 24 Mar: received an email form Spedire.com where they ask for details, which they were already included in my initial opened ticket. So I resend the requested details. Meanwhile i try to get in touch with Spedire.com both via email and telephone. Their replies are very shorts and not explanatory, On the 29th Mar they wrote me a line saying I don’t have insurance. I was 100% sure I had purchased insurance, but in doubting this at this point, I went to check the invoice and it is clear stated in there that I have purchased insurance. Even if this was not the case, they offer a basic insurance up to 150euro to everyone. I try and discuss over the phone but this was not working on several occasions during their working times. I then contact UPS in UK (0044 034578 77877) who were listening to my case and agreeing that i had a right to be reimbursed. They were so helpful that they opened an investigation from this end. As requested by UPS I kept both parcels and labels to be investigated. On the 11 Apr an employee from UPS called Kevin came to the house to inspect. He left saying that UPS will get back to me with a written outcome. Meanwhile I search for more info online about Spedire.com and I find that half of Italy has had issues. The real name of Spedire.com is ESITE S.R.L., Via per Marco 12/A, 38068 Rovereto (TN) and all reviews can be seen on https://it.trustpilot.com/review/spedire.com. Lots of people are angry at them and have reported their cases to the Italian police. I did as well. Since then nothing was received by UPS and we have been contacting them on several times and it comes out that they don’t want to release any information to us because the outcome of the investigation was sent to Spedire.com I am now left with very little hopes to solve this issue, which is common to many other people in Italy who have used Spedire.com. I have had a considerable amount of lost with it and moreover, something needs to be done towards this company who refuses to listen to their customers. I look forward to hearing back from you. ve
